Planned Future Costumes

Updated 04/04/2010

As the title of this page says, these are my planned costumes for sometime in the future.  With some of these, I have some of the materials but have not had the time to start; with others, I have little to nothing but research.  I will update this page from time to time, changing things to the In-Prigress page and adding to the list.

LEIA AS BOUSHH

I never thought that I would want to make this costume, as I tend to feel claustrophobic at times.  However, the more I thought about it, the more I started to like the idea of this costume, as  I do not always needd to wear the helmet.  I do not have anything for this yet, but I have joined up with the Boushh Builders so that I can order parts when I am ready to begin this costume.

SHAAK TI

I was hoping to be able to make this one for Celebration VI, but, alas, time constraints call.  However, I do still plan to make this one of these days...once finances and time allow.

PADME AMIDALA

One of the gals in the RL is working on this particular costume from The Clone Wars series.  I pretty much have most of the materials for this, since I have left-over sequins, cording, fabric, etc. from my Loyalist Committee Gown from years ago.  I will see what kind of progress I can make on those I have already started before I even touch this one.

REVELATION GOWN

I have always loved this gown, but have had problems finding a perfect fabric for the gown itself...with the overlapping concentric circles being the biggest issue.  I finally found the closest match I could, so I bought it up!!  I will need to dye the fabric and buy some more velvet for the cloak, but I have been able to make the first step toward making this costume a reality!!  I would love to have this completed by Celebration VII, whenever that may be :)

PADME'S REFUGEE TRAVEL GOWN

I would love to have both versions of this gown:  one with the purplish cloak and one with the lace veil.  One of the RL members has beautifully recreated this gown and has offered her designs on her Spoonflower site. I have wanted to make this costume for the longest time, but, like so many others, could not find a fabric for the actual gown that was accurate enough for me.  When funds become more readily available, I will definitely be on this one!!

GLINDA

These costumes are for Glinda from OZ- The Great and Powerful.  I cannot choose which one is my favorite, but I know that I have the majority of the materials I need for the first one pictured--a gown that has been called her "Celebration Gown."  Hopefully I will be able to make all three of these gowns at some point, but the top one is on the definitely planned list :)
