Padme's Closet: Dream Costumes (Any Genre)

The other day I decided that I wanted to add a page to my blog showing my ultimate dream costumes...if time and money were not issues. Some of these I have dreamed about for quite some time; however, both time and money are not on my side for me to be able to reconstruct these particular costumes. I may add to this list in the future, but here it is as of this time:

Welcome to my site!! This site is devoted to my Star Wars costumes...a passion I developed shortly after the release of Revenge of the Sith in 2005. As my projects become completed, I will post information on how I did them (i.e. patterns, fabrics, accessories, etc.) as well as pictures of the final product. Also, some costumes may undergo updates/revisions, so please check back for those, as I will post an "Edit/Update (date)" comment in the original post. I hope this will allow me to share my passion in a more diverse way.

I do want to add that I currently do not take commissions. I have done some in the past and did not have a good experience, so I have chosen not to add that stress to my already busy life. I thank you all for your understanding.

****As a side note...for those of you who do not know the movie abbreviations I am using, here is a translation:

TPM = The Phantom Menace (Episode I)
AOTC = Attack of the Clones (Episode II)
ROTS = Revenge of the Sith (Episode III)

ANH = A New Hope (Episode IV)
ESB = Empire Strikes Back (Episode V)
ROTJ = Return of the Jedi (Episode VI)

Costume Progress

Aqua Georgette Gown

Main gown sewn together; still needs embroidery, cape, gauntlets, and hair piece.

Fireside Gown

Under-corset--done; outer-corset--done; skirt--done (although, I am looking for a more accurate outer fabric); still needs gauntlets, brooch; feather caplet; and new outer skirt fabric

Motee Senate Gown

Patterns found; shirt fabric done; outer dress fabric dyed and cut, still needs sewn together; silk georgette for scarf dyed, still needs embellished; still need flower.

Breha Organa

Only need to add support to sleeves...otherwise, complete!!

Atris

Gown, undershirt, and tabards cut out and sewn together; still need to embroider pattern on tabards; still need wig.

Bail Organa

Still need boots...otherwise, complete!!
